If you've ever wanted to know how to master fermentation and make the perfect sauerkraut or salt brine pickles, this cooking class is where you'll want to start.

Join author, wholefood educator, teacher and expert fermenter Marcea Klein, who will take you through everything there is to know about fermentation using seasonal produce. This class is perfect for beginners, or anyone who has experimented with fermenting and wants to learn more tricks of the trade.

In addition to hands-on instruction where you'll learn how to ferment sauerkraut and salt brine pickles. Marcea will teach you how to easily incorporate fermented foods into your diet, and discuss food safety processes like sterilizing containers. Throughout the class, you'll get to enjoy Marcea’s personal ferments served with gluten-free crackers and/or sourdough bread and a special vegan dip.

After this cooking class, you'll get to take home two jars of your own wild ferments to look after, along with instructions on how to care for them to get the best results.

Your lesson will be a delicious culinary adventure!

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday, hens party or bucks party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
