Looking for unique Sydney activities? Join Tomato Art at their Burwood pottery studio and learn the art of wheel-throwing.
This hands-on beginner-friendly pottery workshop in Sydney will see you making a unique ceramic piece to take home. The class will run for ninety minutes with a friendly instructor on board to guide you through the process. You'll start with a basic introduction to pottery and the wheel-throwing machine before learning how to make a ceramic cup or bowl.
After the class, your piece will be dried and fired in the kiln. You'll be able to pick up your work after five or more weeks.
You'll return home feeling more confident about wheel throwing and with the skills and knowledge to continue your pottery journey!
Please note:
  • Your ceramic work will be kept at the studio for up to 4 months. If you don't collect it within this time frame, it will be discarded.
  • For parents who would like to bring along a child under 12 years old and use the same machine as their child, a surcharge of $5 per child applies, payable in cash on-site.
Knowledge required
Beginners welcome.

  • Your ceramic cup or bowl, ready to pick up five weeks after your class after it has been dried, and fired in our kiln.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 3 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
