Block printing was made for Christmas! From printing rustic Christmas cards to personalising gift wrap for someone special to printing your own ornaments, there are many ways to use block printing in your Christmas crafting.
In this Christmas-themed printmaking workshop in West Ryde, you will design and carve your own collection of Christmas stamps which you will then use to use on Christmas cards, gift tags and gift wrap. I will also bring along my own Christmas stamps and some templates to create Christmas ornaments.
My classes are supportive and inclusive---I believe that ANYONE can learn how to block print.
No former experience is required. Kids over 10 are welcome with an accompanying parent. We are using sharp tools so due care should be taken. Christmas-themed snacks will be provided!
This class is great for a birthday or hens party.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old).

Rowan has been a full time artist since 2016 when she set up her art business Little Rowan Redhead. Rowan is a compulsive maker and a hobby hoarder but she is most well known for her block printing which she has taught since 2017. In fact she wrote a book on the subject ('Modern Block Printing' 2022). Rowan believes that anybody can be creative - sometimes though you just need a little inspiration and guidance. That is where Rowan comes in! 'I love what I do and I am passionate about teaching, inspiring and helping others to discover their creative selves'.
