Rowan has been a full time artist since 2016 when she set up her art business Little Rowan Redhead. Rowan is a compulsive maker and a hobby hoarder but she is most well known for her block printing which she has taught since 2017. In fact she wrote a book on the subject ('Modern Block Printing' 2022). Rowan believes that anybody can be creative - sometimes though you just need a little inspiration and guidance. That is where Rowan comes in! 'I love what I do and I am passionate about teaching, inspiring and helping others to discover their creative selves'.

Great value class with all materials provided. The teacher, Rowan, was warm and generous with sharing her knowledge. And although I went alone and didn’t know anyone, everyone there was friendly and chatty and happy to help each other. A lovely afternoon! Would recommend to anyone with an interest in print making.

Today I was very pleased with my results! I have done a little stamp carving before but it was great to get some expert tips. Rowan did not disappoint. Her experience and knowledge of carving is vast. She had some great ideas for repeat patterns too.
Rowan is a great teacher with clear instructions. The class was well paced and we all managed a print by the end.

This was a very fun class. Rowan was a lovely teacher - very bubbly, informative and came around multiple times checking if we had any issues/questions. She also gave us a very comprehensive overview about where to find resources to continue this at home. This is definitely going to be a new hobby of mine!

The workshop is worth everything -- the materials, knowledge, and the teacher. Rowann is very kind and entertaining. She'll give you advices with stamps or materials, and even with how you'll deal with what you want to do. It's a very calming and fulfilling activity and before you know it, the class will be ending.

Rowan is a great teacher and passionate about her art form, obviously very talented at it. I enjoyed the course, it was harder than I expected but Rowan gave me help. I think you do need basic drawing skills or more designs to trace. The equipment we used was all good quality and there was plenty, no waiting to use anything. The venue was very relaxing and inspiring. Thank you Rowan

This was my first workshop at the Centre and I really enjoyed it. Rowan was lovely! Very welcoming and warm. The set up was great - all the materials were organised and ready for us.
Rowan explained clearly what we were going to do and how and instructed us very well - I really liked her style. Two hours was just enough time for us to carve our block and print either a teatowel or tote bag. There weren't enough bags for everyone but fortunately some of us preferred the tea towel option.
The workshop was good value and we all learnt a skill we can continue at home. Rowan shared her tips and tricks and where to source the best materials.
It was a fantastic way to spend 2 hours and I'd definitely return.

An inspiring start to a new craft! Rowan supplies a variety of materials to get you started. She demonstrated each step of the process and provided good tips from her experience. She is encouraging and helpful so that you achieve a worthwhile product at the end of the workshop.

I took my mother to the class as a surprise birthday activity and was not disappointed! Rowan was a wonderful teacher and host - knowledgeable, warm + friendly, and well prepared for the class. The space was inviting, all the materials were available for us, and we were able to make speedy progress in our block printing skills during the class! Highly recommended.

The class was so relaxing and I learnt so much at the same time The teacher was fantastic she really shared with us so much knowledge on block printing and we where really able to get our creative juices flowing. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the class. We're inspired to carry on block printing at home. Rowan was lovely- very informative and generous. Cute house, good light and very funky. We loved it.
