Join us at our studio in Redfern for this private 1:1 class where you'll learn how to draft your own pattern by using a garment you already own as a template.

This class is suitable for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

How it works:
1. You book your initial class which is three hours long. This class will focus on drafting the pattern. Depending on the complexity of your garment, further sessions may be required to complete the pattern.

2. If you would like to return for another session, you may book this at the end of your first class, or via the booking calendar below.

3. Continue your classes until your pattern is finished and if you'd like, we can guide you through the process of sewing the garment too.

Highlights
Learn how to draft a pattern using your garment as a template
Make adjustments to the pattern, such as adding pockets
Flexibility of a one-on-one class, ask as many questions as you'd like

Our story began in 2018 in a small studio inside 107 Projects on Redfern St. With only one desk and one sewing machine, our first class was published and a lovely lady booked in. Our passion for the arts coupled with bringing people together, brought our vision of launching a creative hub to life.

In our modern world, everything moves quickly, we have adapted to a fast-paced environment and sometimes it can be hard to slow ourselves down. Sydney Creative is a place for people to relax, regroup and find a creative outlet that will hopefully aid in bringing people a sense of achievement, fulfilment and joy.

Our Classes bring people together, often in a circle around a table, whether it's for a sewing class, jewellery making or crafting, there's something special about being creative in a group together.
