The Fabric of Us is a creative community where people come together to learn, make and connect through textiles. Our workshops celebrate creativity over perfection, curiosity over rules, and the simple joy of making something with your own two hands.

Founded by textile artist and sewing educator Rosa, The Fabric of Us was born from a love of sustainable making and the belief that sewing has the power to bring people together. Many of the materials used throughout our workshops are thoughtfully sourced from op shops, fabric destashes, donated collections and rescued remnants, proving that the most beautiful creations often begin with what others have overlooked.

Whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or rediscovering a long-lost hobby, our workshops are designed to be welcoming, relaxed and encouraging. We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone, and that sewing isn't just about making beautiful things - it's about building confidence, reducing waste, sharing stories and creating meaningful connections with others.
