What you'll do
We have set this class up as a bonding experience with parents and their kids. The price is per guest, so make sure you book for 2 places and add both guest names.
If your child is 11 or older, we don’t mind if they come by themselves or with a friend. If younger, please attend with them and book as per the instructions above.
If you're looking for fun things for kids to do during the school holidays, bring them along to this pottery class in Crows Nest, where you will learn how to use clay to make their own unique ceramics.
Hosted by talented crafters, kids will be in good hands as they learn the fundamentals of wheel-throwing with with clay. Whether they're a budding crafter or just love getting messy, this class is brilliant to help nurture kids' creative sides.
Ideal for complete beginners, you both will learn the step-by-step process of wheel thrown pottery with clay through a combination of fun demonstrations and hands-on learning. You will use these terrific techniques to make trinket bowls, little cups or anything else your imagination can come up with.
Clay, tools, aprons and everything required to make ceramics is included in the class, so all you have to do is turn up and get ready for some creative fun!
Please note: The teacher will take the finished pieces away and fire them in a kiln; glaze options will be available to choose from at the class and the pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately four to six weeks after the class.

I am Karina and I am a ceramic artist, business owner and teacher based in Crows Nest on the upper north shore in Sydney. My passion for ceramics started out as a hobby in 2016 and over the last two years has really grown into a small business with a focus on handmade small batch ceramics and tailor-made events for clay lovers and learners.
I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create ceramics and explore clay, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.
I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful.
