5.0 (2)Welcome to Sew Well Studio. I'm Mimi and Sew Well Studio is my passion project. My vision and mission is to create a wellness community using the craft of sewing, creating textile products and art.
My passion for sewing started in my first high school textiles class and since then, I have become a High School teacher, teaching Textiles and Food Technology. My other passions lie in educating, sustainable textiles, slow fashion, cooking and travelling.
To me, sewing has been an escape that allows me to express my creativity through a textiles medium. I enjoy the mindfulness that comes with sewing and the delayed gratification at the completion of my projects.
Through this passion project, I hope to share with you all, the mindfulness of this craft, for you to express your creativity and to also to compliment positively to your wellness.
Sew wellcome! (Making terrible puns and dad jokes are another hobby of mine). I hope you find something fun and meaningful to you here.

I am glad I did the course. I did not know how to sew. Mimi is a good teacher. She is patient and made the class fun and relaxing. I am happy with the bag I made because I learnt something new.
I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to try sewing.

My friends and I joined this class as part of a unique group outing experience and I was introduced to sewing for the first time.
Mimi made us all feel welcomed from start to finish. The environment was very homely and relaxed, and it was very spacious and comfortable.
The lesson itself was a great experience. Mimi ensured we learned the basics of sewing in an engaging and thoughtful manner, catering for the varying skills and experiences we had and guided us in creating a canvas bag.
The painting was really fun as we were able to create our own unique design while sitting, chilling and having a laugh.
I would highly recommend this class to anyone or group (guys included) who just want to try something different, and have a relaxing time being creative.
