  • 5/5 from Erni, attended Oct 2026: We enjoyed every single minute of the class. Ainslie, not only you were so generous with your immense knowledge on scents, you made the 3 hours class go by at just a beautiful pace. We learnt so much and we had so much fun! Wish we could stay way longer. We still kept talking abour how amazing that class was hours after and we are definitely returning. Love to the other new scent lovers in the class too :)
  • 5/5 from Karlissa Kennedy, attended May 2026: Ainsley was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was an immersive experience through perfume where the class participants learned about the history and sourcing of ingredients. We sampled dozens of individual notes and blended accords. The scents evoked memories that brought the group together to tell stories and share memories the scents evoked. We then individually created a purfume profile which Ainsley, by discussion with us and experience, was able to write out a recipe to create a purfume for us to mix and take home. A truly wonderful class led by an accomplished professional. Thank you Ainsley for welcoming us into your studio.
  • 5/5 from Beni Falemaka, attended May 2026: I did the perfume blending class at St Peter’s last week and had such a great time. Ainslie Walker was our instructor and she was fantastic, knowledgeable, really approachable, and her understanding of scent composition was wide-ranging. She walked us through the basics of perfume making, explained the difference between top, middle and base notes, and helped each of us blend our own scent from scratch. The ingredients were high quality, and you genuinely feel like you’re working with proper materials. The take-home product was really generous too, I came away with a bottle I’m actually proud to wear. The only small thing was that it felt a bit rushed at the end, but honestly that’s only because everyone was having too much fun experimenting and chatting. Time flew. Definitely a great date day or gift for anyone who loves scents and wants to make something personal. I’d 100% do it again!
  • 5/5 from Christina Ludovice, attended May 2026: A highly informative yet enjoyable workshop. Ainslie is very knowledgeable in the art of perfumery and it shows not only in her enthusiasm and guidance but also in the structure of the workshop. I'd love to do this again.
  • 5/5 from Khushi Baghla, attended Aug 2025: She is the best! I left with my own scent and a whole new appreciation for the art of perfumery highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Nicole Keeffe, attended Aug 2025: I loved this class! Ainslie has so much knowledge and made it so personal and interactive. And then leaving with a well sized quality scent all of my own (and some left over baked goods) just topped off a fab morning. I could have spent all day smelling and mixing and listening so I have a pretty strong feeling I'll be booking another class at some point.
  • 5/5 from Grant Kemlo, attended May 2025: Absolutely loved this class. Came away with a bottle of perfume that suits me (and my wife loves it too). Ainsley's professional approach to teaching and guiding about perfumes creates a comfortable and exciting environment to learn and create. Will definitely be booking more of her courses. Highly recommend. 10/10

Will definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who loves perfumery.

  • 5/5 from Dimitri Douchin, attended Nov 2023: I had a great time creating a perfume I had in mind for more than a year with Ainslie. I came with the mood and story that I wanted for the perfume and within minutes, Ainsley had presented me about 20 fragrances to include and they were all on point. It was a small intimate workshop and we converged on the perfume I wanted very simply. Ainsley had brought some great local foods and I had a blast. Will certainly do it again and I have been proudly wearing my perfume all day.

  • 5/5 from Natalie Smith, attended Mar 2023: What an elegant and down to earth person.I sea it as a science and this lady knows such beautiful histories behind each scent and there were many. It opened something up inside of me that I didn’t know I had or had the opportunity to experience. What magic I made my very on scent I could describe it. Memories feelings and they all came tiger in my very own bottle namedby me Frida.
  • 5/5 from Kerrie Holien, attended Mar 2023: Our team had a fabulous time with Ainslie. She was so warm and welcoming, and the space, nibbles and champers was divine! We loved learning about each of the ingredients and thinking about how they made us feel. Learning how to blend and balance the oils and round them out with elements of another ingredient was such a fun and interesting process! Ainslie was so creative in the way she described scents visually, and her passion and knowledge meant we learned so much in a really relatable way. We highly recommend Ainslie and her class to anyone, even if you’re not a lover of perfume, this will appeal and it will all make so much ‘scents’ by the end of the class. Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Nara Chalmers, attended Mar 2023: It was a most interesting experience. In a relaxed yet professional manner Ainslie guided us in creating our own signature perfume, using our senses and her knowledge. Loved the class. Love my perfume.
  • 5/5 from Bernard Gallate, attended Jan 2023: I absolutely loved Ainslie's workshop from her warm greeting at the door to leaving with my own signature scent. Ainslie was the consummate professional, sharing her wealth of knowledge with a passion that made the whole process exciting. Her airy and light-flooded workshop space was ideal and having a small group all seated around a communal table with our own set-ups facilitated discussion as we sampled a wide array of essences from her collection. Ainslie taught us different ways of describing scents and encouraged us to share what we felt drawn to and our experiences with fragrance. Following a perfectly timed break with cheese platter and refreshments, we began the second half of the session, building a profile of our signature scents with the desired essences. Ainslie managed to give everybody individual assistance in the process. The final step of physically adding the precise amount of each ingredient into a bottle with a dropper and scales was thrilling and then we had the opportunity of testing the result and tweaking. It was such a delight to smell each of the other participants unique fragrances at the end and we celebrated with a glass of champagne. It was a terrific experience that I would highly recommend to anybody who enjoys smells, regardless of their knowledge or use of fragrances. Utterly fascinating. And even though Ainslie was realistic about what we might be able to achieve with just one workshop, I unreservedly love the scent that she helped me to create.
  • 5/5 from Kylie Blackwood, attended Dec 2022: It was a great class, beautiful space. Ainslie was a fabulous teacher with so much knowledge, patience and a just a beautiful soul thank you I truly loved the class and love my fragrance!
