Growing up in a family of French chefs, I have always been passionate about food and used my baking skills to make friends around the world (who can resist a beautiful cake made with love?).

I shifted my focus from cake to bread a few years ago and worked for a couple of months in a bakery to learn the basics. 2020 and its lockdown gave me the time to perfect my techniques using only general household equipment.

Making my own bread every week gave me so much joy and satisfaction, I now want to share my passion with everyone!

I learnt that no matter how many YouTube’s I watched on how to make sourdough Marion showed me all the techniques in detail and giving me the confidence to dive straight in.
Thanks Marion, great class. And what an awesome lunch; I should have eaten some more pancakes because as soon as my wife tried them they were gone, nice stuff.
Oh and I also learned not everything can be learned on YouTube.

Marion was fantastic, the time was filled well the spread of food over lunch-time break was more than substantial (and delicious) and her instructions were clear and easy to follow My first successful sourdough was the one I cooked the next day (in my photo) and I look forward to making sourdough for years to come using the techniques that I learned in this workshop!

A lovely venue with a spotless kitchen, fabulous view and a host whose knowledge and hospitality will be remembered for a long time.
The individual hands on experience is definitely the best way to learn.
Sourdough bread, savoury flat breads and pancakes will all be added to my culinary repertoire. Thank you Marion
