If you like Spanish cuisine this cooking workshop is perfect for you. Learn how to prepare a delicious and traditional Spanish feast the fun and easy way!

During this class, which is perfect for beginners, you will learn from your experienced chef how to prepare Mixed Paella, the popular Spanish rice dish, and add seafood, chicken and chorizo.

You will also learn how to make Tapas, a series of small appetizers, including Romesco, Pan Con Tomate and Tortilla Española, a delicious omelette-like potato dish, with feta and caramelized onions. For this fun session, everything is provided including fresh and seasonal ingredients.

To top off, like if we were in Spain, we will sit together to savour the amazing Spanish feast prepared by you, along with a well deserved homemade sangria and delicious Churros with warm chocolate sauce for dessert.

Leave this class filled with both new knowledge and delicious food that you can keep enjoying and mastering at home. It's also a great option if you're looking for team cooking classes for team building in Sydney.

Children between the ages of 10-18 are eligible to attend provided they are booked in together with a Parent/Guardian over the age of 18.

Please note: Sydney Cooking School (SCS) reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class for reasons concerning SCS. If a class has been cancelled due to low attendance, sickness or any other matter regarding SCS, all students will be notified within 48 hours of the class commencement date, and the option to reschedule to another date, or full refunds provided.

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

We have a variety of themed menus and packages available, and our formats are suitable to anyone, from the absolute beginner to the more passionate cook. As well as our regularly scheduled classes, we offer masterclasses in Pastry, Chicken & Duck and Pork & Cider, as well as Children’s School Holiday classes.

If you prefer to be out of the Kitchen join us in our fabulous BBQ area for one of our Popular BBQ classes – Things really heat up in these classes so ensure you dress comfortably.

The school is very well set out and the ingredients are nicely measured out allowing you to work easily and focus on instruction and the cooking. You don't need to have a lot of experience in the kitchen to work through this course but you do come out with the knowledge and skills to make a couple of interesting dishes that are bound to impress.
