Tea ceremony

5 x 3 hours Class size 1 to 6 guests       $1,000

In this delightful workshop, you will immerse yourself in the art of a tea class, where you will learn the intricate details of a Tea Ceremony, including the Zen philosophy behind it. Gain insights into Tea Ceremony manners and deepen your understanding of Japanese culture.
Don't worry if you're new to this - this workshop is designed for beginners, so you'll feel comfortable and supported throughout the experience. I take easy style, because I don't have Tatami, Japanese architecture here. However, I talk the core value of Japanese culture.
You will work with various materials used in a traditional Tea Ceremony, which will transport you to a place of calm and mindfulness. The process might evoke feelings of tranquillity and appreciation for the present moment.
By the end of the activity, you'll walk away with newfound knowledge, a better understanding of the Tea Ceremony, and a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture.

â– private sushi
Hi! I'm a certified food handler and sushi maker offering private sushi experiences in your home or office.
Most sushi chefs focus only on food, but I offer more – an experience of Japanese culture through sushi.
I majored in Cultural Anthropology and offer commentary and conversation around Japanese tradition, food philosophy, and meaning.
As for cooking sushi, I teach you mainly roll, because it's useful for you.
  • Hosomaki (small finger sushi)
  • Hutomaki (usually you find in city)
  • Uramaki (designed)
I use vegetable, chicken, and so on. (without raw fish)
