Learn how to make your own DIY terrarium at the most highly-rated terrarium classes in Sydney! More than just a few miniature plants in a bottle or glass bowl – a terrarium is an entirely self-contained ecosystem that's easy to care for and lovely to look at. Head along to one of our Sydney classes and our indoor plant experts will teach you how to build your very own using your favourite plants. Forget store-bought terrariums and dig into the DIY process as you learn to make a unique miniature garden and invite some lush greenery into your home. The terrariums you'll build in our fun Sydney workshops are designed for longevity, so you can rest assured that your mini plant oasis will thrive!
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to build your own terrarium, you’ve probably noticed that it’s a delicate hobby. You need to know a lot about plant science to pull it off with success. That’s why it can be helpful to have a plant expert teach you the basics like soil nutrition, water retention, lighting, and more. Without these helpful hints, you might end up with a closed terrarium that is closed for business. You wouldn’t be the only one with a DIY terrarium that looked great at first and then withered away.

With a variety of different terrarium workshops to choose from, you’ll find classes that fit into your schedule and are designed for your skill level. Beginners moss terrariums, for instance, are some of the most enjoyable things to do in Sydney at night so that you can stop by after work. Or, you might arrange for a weekend succulent terrariums class. There are even workshops in Bondi Beach for bottle terrariums in case you want to schedule in some fun terrarium classes during your trip to the beach.

If you’re looking for indoor activities Sydney residents can enjoy for birthdays or other celebrations, terrarium workshops are the perfect creative class to try. And if you’re looking for things to do in Sydney with kids, learning how to build your own terrarium is both educational and fun. It’s the perfect activity for those upcoming Sydney school holidays. Terrarium workshops are a sure way to improve workplace wellbeing by incorporating them into your regular team bonding activities. Your workplace will transform once everyone has their own DIY terrariums to place on their desks. And, terrarium workshops make excellent experience gifts in Sydney.
Terrarium classes are the perfect balance of learning and doing. Your passionate terrarium teacher will share all of their wisdom about how to create the perfect DIY terrariums. You’ll learn so much about what plants need from their environment to thrive in their little self-contained bottle or glass so that they’ll survive long after the class is over. And then, you’ll get the chance to get your hands dirty by creating your own terrarium to take home. After you learn how to make a terrarium in these fun terrarium workshops, you’ll be giving them as gifts to all your friends and loved ones.
Health benefits of terrarium
Just like having a vase of flowers or a fish tank in your home, DIY terrariums will give your space a sense of calm and connection to nature. Looking into your self-sustaining terrarium will give you such a feeling of peace and tranquillity that you might even find yourself falling into a little meditation session every time you glance at it. Plus, you’ll have so much fun creating your own little floral ecosystem and meeting other plant-loving friends in Sydney.
