The Pony Experience

Have you always dreamt of owning a pony or miniature horse? Love animals and want to learn how to connect with them?

In this online experience, your host, Karri, will introduce you to Lorien, Lunar, Loki, Tin Tin & Timmie: her herd of cheeky, friendly Shetland and miniature horses. We'll give you a glimpse into their daily life and why she enjoys spending time with them.

With the ponies helping us, we will explore the options for housing, feeding, grooming, and all the essential daily chores to look after a pony responsibly. Karri will share her experiences and funny stories about the ponies you will meet.

But it's not just about basic care. Learning to communicate with others is also important! Whether we want to make friends with a new person in our life, a pony, or our own pets at home, we need to understand the language animals speak.

We are all speaking without words, all the time. In this class, the ponies will show us how to not just listen, but really hear others in our life.

The ponies will help show us how to make friends, look for consent and permission, gain empathy for others, and help demonstrate how all animals learn and are rewarded. We'll do this while engaging in the fun games and tricks our ponies love! You'll gain a deeper understanding of useful life skills that apply equally to socializing with people and engaging with animals you know - all presented in a fun and friendly way.

An experience suitable for both children and adults - ponies aren't just for kids! All content is easily adapted to suit individual groups and their needs.
