Q: Do I need to know anything about tea before attending?
Not at all. This session is designed to be approachable whether you’re completely new or already enjoy tea.
Q: I’ve already done the black tea tasting—will this feel repetitive?
No. While we briefly revisit a few core ideas, the focus is quite different. Green tea has its own processing methods and flavour profiles, so the experience will feel distinct.
Q: What kinds of green tea will we taste?
You’ll taste a range of high-quality green teas from different regions and production styles, including both steamed and pan-fired teas. Flavours may range from fresh and vegetal to nutty or savoury.
Q: How many teas will we try?
You’ll taste several different teas during the session—enough to give you a clear sense of how varied green tea can be.
Q: How long is the class?
The session runs for 60 minutes.
Q: Is this a caffeinated experience?
Yes—all teas served in this session contain caffeine.
Q: Will there be food?
This is a focused tasting, so food is not included. We recommend arriving having eaten beforehand.
