Tropical Soul Dance Studio was founded in 2011 with a simple but powerful vision: to share the joy of Latin dance with as many people as possible. What started as a passion project has now become one of Sydney’s leading Latin dance schools, known for its vibrant community, high-quality instruction, and welcoming atmosphere.

As directors of Tropical Soul, Sera and I (Juan) bring years of experience, dedication, and love for dance to everything we do. We are multiple-time Latin dance champions and have had the privilege of teaching, performing, and inspiring dancers all over Australia and overseas. Through the years, we’ve taught, trained, and coached countless dancers—helping beginners take their first confident steps and guiding experienced dancers to refine their skills and reach new heights.

Our Salsa & Bachata Beginners Courses are some of the most popular in Sydney, designed to make learning easy, engaging, and social.
