Wheel and Wine Pottery Class

Enjoy a glass of wine while learning how to throw pottery pieces on a wheel

Pottery is an excellent way to relax, unwind and get creative! Join this beginner-friendly class to learn the art of creating ceramic works on a pottery wheel.

You will learn how to make pottery pieces including how to prepare clay, centre clay onto the wheel and throw a pottery piece.

Your teachers have years of experience and will be there to teach and guide you and help you create beautiful ceramic works.

You can usually expect to produce two to six pieces during this class, ranging from cute pot planters, vases, bowls, mugs and more! So, come and learn the essential wheel throwing skills and have the confidence to continue growing this relaxing hobby!

Your work will be finished and glazed by us and be ready to collect in four to six weeks.

Note:

  • Private classes and date requests are currently unavailable.
  • If you want a PRIVATE CLASS all six spaces must be booked, otherwise you time slot will be available for the extra seats in the class to be booked.
  • Classes require a minimum of three people to run, you will be notified 24 hours before if your class is unable to go ahead


Knowledge required
Any levels welcome, beginners encouraged.
 
What you'll get
All materials including clay, tools, glazes and firing costs are included as well as red or white wine and delicious chacuterie board!
 
What to bring
While clay does wash out quite easily, we recommend wearing old clothes and shoes. You can also bring an apron and old towel if you have them.
