What you'll do
75-minute sessions are for students 9-12 years old. This is an intermediate group suitable for children who have just started drawing. We emphasise different art techniques with a more detailed approach. Students learn basics of composition, simple rules of observational drawing, and colour theory. Alongside, they engage in creative tasks such as collage, illustration, and mixed media art.
My mission is to help children find harmony and balance through art.
Each term program for every group will include:
Traditional art classes, where students will learn a variety of art techniques and work with different materials.
AND
Creative therapy sessions, designed to help young people relax, develop self-esteem, improve concentration, and build strong connections with themselves and the world around them. In these creative therapy sessions, I use an intermodal approach, incorporating poetry, music, movement, and art creation.
As an artist and creative therapist, my aim is not only to teach technical skills in visual art to my students, but also to help them:
- Feel their artwork
- Relax and concentrate
- Trust their intuition
- Learn to work with their emotions
- Make reflections on their artworks
These skills are crucial for children in today's fast-paced world, which is overloaded with information and tasks.
