What you'll do
Kokedamas are all the rage! So get on board and deck your house out in these delightful creations with this Kokedama class in Melbourne.
Kokedama translates literally to moss ball in Japanese and these green friends are the perfect space savers when you are short on surface space.
During this workshop, you'll learn all about soil composition, plant selection, tying techniques and care so you can keep your little moss ball looking lush and happy for many moons to come. You'll get all materials needed in this one-and-a-half-hour workshop to make yourself two beautiful Kokedamas to take home.
Please note: A private event fee of $100 applies. Additional charges may apply for certain custom events, or for mobile events depending on the distance, available parking etc.

The Plant Whisperer is an offer from Melbourne's own queen of the jungle, Haylee Magendans and her team of Plant Whisperers, Bel, Renee and Tilly.
Our mission is to brighten bodies and homes with beautiful, well made and original pieces and luscious jungle plants. Our work is continuously changing and evolving with my current inspirations and all items are one off or limited numbers. Teacher was very nice. Atmosphere was nice, but maybe the music was a bit loud while she was talking because we couldn’t really understand now see what she was doing. She came around to guide and assist, which was good.

We had a wonderful time at our Kokedama class.
Our instructor was patient and provided easy-to-follow, step-by-step demonstration. She was also readily available to lend a hand and provide advice/encouragement as needed.
It was much trickier than we thought it would be but we are absolutely thrilled with the end results.

Our teacher Hayley was really friendly and presented the Kokedama workshop in an easy to follow way. She made a demonstration then helped everyone individually with their Kokedama and to make them personalised how we wanted them. Hayley was right on time too which was great for us.
