Block printing is a traditional printing technique where, text, images, or patterns are carved into a wooden or linoleum block, which is then inked and pressed onto paper or fabric to create a print. This method, known for its distinctive, handcrafted look, has been used for centuries in various cultures for printing books, textiles, and artworks. Each block is a unique creation, allowing for artistic expression and intricate designs.
In this workshop you will be printing on paper and get to choose either a tea towel or tote to print on!
Immerse yourself in the creative process, feel the satisfaction of making something with your own hands, and leave the workshop with a collection of beautiful prints that you can proudly display or gift to loved ones. Come join us for a fun and fulfilling activity that will inspire and delight you.
