Italians are masters of understated culinary art. Their foods are rich in strong flavours and seasoned with gorgeous fresh herbs. Now is your chance to learn the techniques behind creating simple yet delicious dishes that will wow your friends and family. This Italian cooking class in Brisbane will help you nail classic Italian dishes and expand on your Italian cooking techniques!

In our rustic Italian cooking class part one, we covered focaccia, panna cotta, gnocchi and pasta. In this part two cooking class, you will lose the fear of attempting to make your own Italian feast from scratch as you follow step by step, fail-safe recipes that will produce amazing dishes every time.

Your cooking class begins with a heartwarming welcome where you are served with either freshly made bread, focaccia or pizza over an introduction and chat with your fellow budding chefs. Then pop on your apron, get into the kitchen and start cooking! You will work in small groups as our chef guides you step by step.

During the class, you will make:

  • Ciabatta
  • Arancini
  • Risotto
  • Involtini
  • Cannoli

Any classes from May 1st and onwards will cook and enjoy the new menu below:
  •  Feasting table on arrival including pear and parmesan rocket salad, olives, cheese, and our very own prosciutto high heel
  • Rosemary and olive ciabatta - hand make this classic stretch and fold high-hydration dough
  • Porcini arancini (you'll learn how to make perfect risotto at the same time)
  • House-made gnocchi with traditional SUGO and burnt sage butter sauce (gluten-free friendly!)
  • Chocolate OR vanilla ricotta cannoli

You will also learn the secret authentic Italian ingredients that really make an Italian dish and how to use them with ease. You will feel confident repeating each recipe at home and create food that is even better than your local Italian restaurant. For those with dietary requirements, gluten-free and vegetarian can be easily catered for.

Come alone, bring a friend or partner, or bring the whole family!

Please note: The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider's discretion. Pasta/gnocchi will always be included. You will work and cook together as a team, and shared workspace and the kitchen equipment with other participants. A group cooking session with partial group participation is the most effective and fun way to add to your cooking skills. To ensure the class finishes on time some elements of the dishes are demonstrated. The class is held in a fully licensed venue so you are unable to BYO.

Note: Groups of four or more guests will get their own private table.
