As an area for improvement, a 5 min overview of the mobile apps would have been sufficient; we spent too much time on them, which felt unproductive. Instead, it would be far more valuable to practice adjusting camera settings across different scenarios, like showing how and when changes in ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc. affect the shot. I'm sure Alfonso has the expertise to incorporate this into the course schedule.

We learned so many practical tips. It’s really changed the way I see and capture things and I feel much more confident. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their photography skills or simply enjoy a creative and inspiring day.

Pre-reading and the editing app were sent in advance, which was good to familiarise with to better prepare for the day. Alfonso spent time explaining the different options on different phones before started learning about composition and editing. The instruction was awesome, and he gave us plenty of small projects to go away and practice, and then share with the group (there were 10 of us attending). I've done quite a lot of online phone photography clases, but still learnt some new techniques and editing skills. My only suggestion would be that I would have preferred a longer class with maybe a tea/coffee break in the middle to get to know everyone a bit more (they were an interesting group of people). I booked this class for me and a friend using a ClassBento gift voucher, which was very easy to do via their website.

The overall course was great, however if you are looking for something more in depth and complex I suggest you look at his other courses for those who are already advanced :) The class went at a nice pace and everyone had time to ask questions if needed. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to learn more about their phone and the way you can edit/enhance your photos!

Lots of helpful tips on taking better photos and an introduction to a suite of easy-access free graphic tools to enhance and manipulate images for various uses, including instagram and other social media platforms, and making your own personalised electronic messages, such as gift cards. Chris, who was our teacher, is a professional photographer across the range of commercial work, from food to architecture, so was able to advise on all the participants' particular interests. Apart from the learning, the class was great fun and very friendly.
