What you'll do
Come learn how to monoprint with Rowan Sivyer. Gelli printing is a form of monoprinting that uses flexible printing plates to create textures and layers of colour. It is easy, fun and ADDICTIVE! We will use gel plates with acrylic paints, stencils, stamps, masks and found objects to create stand-alone prints as well as fun textured papers that can be used for collage, card-making, scrapbooking and more!

The demonstrations were clear, easy to follow and practical for adapting at home outside of the class. There was plenty of time for questions and experimenting. I loved the huge variety of materials Rowan provided. Her teaching style is warm, accessible and open. You will come away from this with a confident new skill that you can start using immediately!

Rowan has been a full time artist since 2016 when she set up her art business Little Rowan Redhead. Rowan is a compulsive maker and a hobby hoarder but she is most well known for her block printing which she has taught since 2017. In fact she wrote a book on the subject ('Modern Block Printing' 2022). Rowan believes that anybody can be creative - sometimes though you just need a little inspiration and guidance. That is where Rowan comes in! 'I love what I do and I am passionate about teaching, inspiring and helping others to discover their creative selves'.
