Discover your creative side and join our amazing watercolour painting class in Sydney. In this dynamic workshop, you'll learn the basics of watercolour painting, from drawing and composition to colour and technique. Our talented artist, Heather Hunt, will guide you along the way.
From Heather: Join me for an introduction to watercolour painting workshop.
Painting from the garden, feel free to bring along leaves and flowers from your garden.
We will be exploring materials, brushstrokes and colour.
Don't worry if you're not an artist, the class is perfect for beginners. Our teacher will encourage creative expression and provide step-by-step instruction, to ensure you produce a beautiful and complex watercolour painting. Plus, all the art materials you'll need will be provided, so you don't have to worry about bringing anything extra, unless you have a preferred set of paints.

Heather talked us through the basics of the materials and techniques, as well as lots of examples that really helped to build confidence in using the medium straight away. It was a great little studio for the lesson, with a small group of students, allowing opportunity for one on one questions. It was a lovely group of people with lots of interesting chats during the class. Everyone finished with impressive pieces of art for first timers to take home. Each work in the participants own uniques style. Highly recommend.

The class was well structured with Mardi gauging our interest and experience to tailor the class to us and keeping time so we could complete our painting without rush. The studio is in such a good location for a relaxing ferry ride from CQ and walk from Balmain ferry stop. Enjoyed coffee and bites at the cute cafes nearby. Highly recommend! Looking forward to Heather running another class with Mardi again soon
