Duing this workshop, you’ll learn how to make eco-friendly gift wrap using the traditional Japanese technique of Furoshiki. Reduce waste while elevating your gift-giving with reusable and personalised fabric wraps.
Unleash your artistic talents as you design and carve unique rubber stamps. You will be guided through the process. These stamps will then help you print your motifs onto fabric.
Create not only stunning artworks but also functional and customisable gift wraps. Your Furoshiki creations can be used for wrapping gifts, as tote bags, or even decorative elements in your living space.
You will get to see and learn several gift wrapping techniques demonstrated to elevate your gift-giving this Christmas!
Connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive and collaborative environment. This three-hour beginner-friendly workshop can be done solo or with friends and makes for a unique activity in Sydney.

Rowan has been a full time artist since 2016 when she set up her art business Little Rowan Redhead. Rowan is a compulsive maker and a hobby hoarder but she is most well known for her block printing which she has taught since 2017. In fact she wrote a book on the subject ('Modern Block Printing' 2022). Rowan believes that anybody can be creative - sometimes though you just need a little inspiration and guidance. That is where Rowan comes in! 'I love what I do and I am passionate about teaching, inspiring and helping others to discover their creative selves'.
