Our hands do so much for us every single day, yet we often forget to give them the care they deserve. This simple 20-minute seated practice is specially designed for seniors and those over 60 to reduce stiffness, relieve tension, and bring back a sense of lightness and flexibility to your fingers, hands, and wrists. Using the unique, gentle principles of the NDSA (Neuro-Dynamic Somatic Activation) method, we focus on safe, mindful movements that coordinate your brain with your muscles. There is no strain or pressure — just pure comfort and immediate relief that you can practice right from your favourite armchair.
Why You Can Easily Do This at Home:
  • 100% Safe & Supported: The entire session is done while comfortably seated. No standing or complex yoga poses required.
  • Gentle Science (The NDSA Method): Instead of painful stretching, we use tiny, smart somatic movements that gently teach your nervous system to release deep-seated tension and aches in the joints.
  • Perfect for Everyday Life: No special equipment needed. You can practice this anytime — while watching TV, reading, or enjoying your morning tea.
Immediate relief from stiffness and that tight, heavy feeling in your fingers and wrists. Improved warmth, blood circulation, and flexibility in your hands. Better grip strength and more confidence in doing your daily tasks with ease.

My yogi way started in childhood when I asked myself about death. It was so evident that I can't be dead; I am something more than this physical body, beyond the five organs of sensation. I started exploring who I am...
It is an interesting and deep way with a lot of spiritual experiences. I meditated a lot, more than 5-6 hours during the day and many years one after another to find answers to my questions. And once, when I came back to the physical body after a long meditation, two main thoughts came into my mind: "There is no mind over there, " and "People are suffering from the mind."
Later, I met my spiritual teachers. I came to India to learn yoga, where the science of Yoga was born. It's impossible to understand Yoga without learning the Indian culture because Yoga and India are the same!
Western people know yoga as physical training. But it's anything but not yoga.
Yoga is a deep spiritual science expanding the perception of consciousness from simple human to cosmic divine! Yoga is a way and a fruit. Yoga is mystical knowledge.
I never stop learning yoga. Yoga is being called a state of unity and the way to achieve this state.
I have more than 10 years of practicing Ashtanga yoga, not fitness. Ashtanga means 8 parts. Modern Ashtanga yoga is fitness and does not have something similar to the true meaning of Ashtanga Yoga of Patanjali.
The 8 parts include: Yoga philosophy for increasing the level of consciousness, Asanas for the physical body, Pranayamas for purifying the prana (prana means vital energy), Pratyahara (bringing the five organs of sensation inside), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (holding the object of meditation for a long time), Samadhi (beyond the words, being in superconsciousness).
All this is not easy and needs a serious guru. From my side, I am trying to help people not forget the true meaning of yoga and probably encourage someone to do yoga as a Sadhana (spiritual practice), not as a fitness routine.
