My classes combine practical skills and craftsmanship with experimentation, play and creative exploration. I want students to learn something tangible while also having space to be curious, express themselves and enjoy the process of making. With formal training in visual art and a background in mental health studies, I've developed a particular interest in the ways creativity can support self-expression, curiosity and wellbeing.
