School Holiday Cake Decorating Workshop

Kids will learn how to decorate petit fours to look like miniature cakes!



5+ years & Adults     1.5 hours Class size 1 to 20 guests

Decorated Petit Fours 
(Image is a sample design taught in class, each creation will be as unique as your child. End result will make 5 decorated petit fours)
Age Group: 5 - 16 years old
This is a solo activity workshop and suitable for younger kids. No parental supervision is needed. Kids will be decorating premade petit fours with miniture piping syringes to make them look like mini celebration cakes.  parents for children younger than 7 years old are welcome to help for free, please let us know to allocate a seat for you
Learning Objectives:
  • how to make buttercream from scratch
  • how to make a simple strawberry jam petit four with chocolate glaze
  • how to pipe buttercream using mini tiny syringes to make mini tiny festive cakes
  • final product is 5 decorated Petit Fours

What you'll get
  • All tools and ingredients provided.

Knowledge required
No prior skills needed except a love of creating all things with chocolate!
What to bring
  • We recommend long hair to be tied back.
  • If presented with cough/cold symptoms, we reserve the right to ask parents to place a mask on their child to avoid transmission to other attendees.

Sugar Pop Bakery is an Australian owned small, creative bakery located in Silverwater, Sydney. Founded in 2014 by Nicole, who arrived to Sydney from Singapore to pursue a career in pharmacy and instead found herself in the world of creating these tiny morsels of creative food.
More than just rolled baked cakes, Nicole always emphasize on keeping the traditional and original method of making cake pops which is from crushed cookies, instead of cakes. Although trickier to make, her intricate and tasty creations earned her winning the ACDN Cake Decorator of the Year for cake pops, just 6 months after quitting her pharmacist job and embarking on this journey full-time.
Since then, Sugar Pop Bakery has catered for many reputable brand companies such as Sheraton On the Park, Uniqlo, Westfield, Atlassian, Parramatta Square and Netflix, just to name a few.
