He was very patient in explaining the different types of dough in Italy and a little bit of science behind the steps. The prosecco, antipasti and different sauces they used to cook our pasta was very delicious. The waitstaff were very friendly, frequently checked up on us and took our photos. I’m inspired to make pasta at home!

  • 5/5 from Amanda Nguyen, attended May 2025: Booked this for a client celebration and we loved it! Group of 8 people so it was an intimate, fun experience with the Chef who kindly took us through different pasta making techniques before cooking it with two sauces (ragu & creamy mushroom). Loved the additional glass of champagne & anti pasto!
  • 5/5 from Catriona Murdie, attended Feb 2025: My team and I had the best time at this pasta-making class! Our teacher was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories about the history of pasta. He guided us step by step through the process, making everything feel approachable and fun. We learned to make both egg-and-flour-based and semolina-and-water-based pasta, creating an impressive variety of shapes. I was pleasantly surprised by how creative and free the process could be - even using the patterns from a glass to add texture! The instructor was patient, funny, and kept us laughing the whole time. After all the hands-on fun, we enjoyed a generous spread of antipasti, followed by two delicious pasta dishes - one tomato-based and one cream-based - made from our own creations. It was a fantastic, memorable bonding experience. Highly recommend! Thank you for such a wonderful class!
  • 5/5 from Saarah Packeer, attended Feb 2025: We had a pasta class from Mauro as a team activity and it was great! We made 2 types of pasta dough and got to create different pasta shapes as Mauro guided us through each one, he first showed how to do it as we learned with him, then he looked at each of our dough hands on as well. He also did a wonderful job of making it engaging with historical facts and funny jokes and annecdotes that lightened the mood. His teaching also made it super easy for everyone to pick up fast and create fun shapes. After we made the pasta, Mauro made one with with his signature lamb sauce and another vegetarian sauce, both were delicious!! Really loved how easy it and calming it was, would recommend the class for anyone looking for a fun group activity where you can relax and engage with each other at the same time!
