  • 5/5 from Theodora Chong, attended Aug 2025: I had booked the South Indian cooking class with Bhavna months in advance and it was worth the wait! The class was informative, fun, interactive and I loved the energy and passion Bhavna brought throughout the class. We made 8x dishes throughout the class and each person (or in pairs) made a dish. The spices 1, 2, 3 and cooking framework (oil/fat, spices, protein) made it easy to follow! The added tips, tricks and stories Bhavna shared were invaluable! I'll be booking another cooking class soon!
  • 5/5 from Antony Wilson, attended Aug 2025: Great and fun class with a very knowledgeable teacher.
  • 5/5 from Kylie Koch, attended Apr 2025: Loved my class with Bhavna this weekend. Bhavna is a warm, beautiful host, she beautifully incorporates how India’s rich history influenced ingredients, cooking practices and recipes. Also heaps of practical tips, shortcuts and shopping secrets! Plenty of hands on cooking so I’m definitely well prepared to replicate the Aloo Bisho, Dosas and chutneys for my family and friends or take on new recipes. The dishes and sides we made were scrumptious and I’ll enjoy the leftovers today! A very special takeaway was the yoghurt starter passed on from her family. I enjoyed this excellent class. Thank you Bhavna!
  • 5/5 from Marina Krishnan, attended Dec 2024: A very enjoyable class! Bhavna our teacher was absolutely brilliant - she was very knowledgeable about the cuisine and the history of India, and with a lovely personality. She took us through the different spices and oils at the start which was a great part of the class. Her husband made some little Indian snacks for us to eat at the start which was a nice touch. We all took turns to do the cooking of the different dishes and had a lovely meal at the end of it. It was an activity for our son's birthday and we would highly recommend this class.
  • 5/5 from James McCoy, attended Aug 2024: Very informative, very good teacher, amazing food and a lot of fun. Very strong recommendation.
  • 5/5 from Diane Odonaghoe, attended Jul 2023: Great afternoon of cooking and some interesting historical facts about variety in Indian culture. Was heaps of fun and very personable
  • 5/5 from Aurelien Robelet, attended Jun 2023: Bhavna is great teacher, we learn how to cooked 6 beautiful dishes and learned all about the different ingredients and techniques. The class is dynamic and fun, and the food tasted incredible. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!
  • 5/5 from Ref Hoogervorst, attended Aug 2022: The teacher was really welcoming and explained a lot about Indian food and customs and cooking techniques. A few dishes I struggled with in the past were clarified and the results were clear and tasty. There were a lot of new dishes we had not had before and everyone had a chance to be involved. Her home setting was well organised and clean and it was a great experience overall! We will be back for more!
