Scanning Chakras
In Animal Reiki, chakra scanning is a gentle technique used to sense energy imbalances in an animal's body.
The practitioner moves their hands slowly over the animal — just above the body or from a short distance — pausing at each of the main chakra points (tail, belly, heart, throat, forehead, and crown).
Students will learn how to use their intuition and training to focus more on the areas of the pet's body carrying energetic blocks. This can be done remotely too in distance healing.
Communicating with Animals to Better Understand Their Energetic Needs
Through calm presence, intention, and Reiki energy, the practitioner creates a safe space where animals can "speak" — not with words, but through images, feelings, sensations, or thoughts that arise intuitively.
This gentle form of communication helps guide the healing session, deepen trust, and support the animal’s emotional and energetic needs — especially in rescue, trauma, illness, or end-of-life care.
Students will learn how to communicate with animals telepathically through meditation in our classes.
Energy Transmission
Using calm presence and light touch (or no touch at all), Reiki is offered to the animal — allowing them to receive the energy in their own way, at their own pace. It can help reduce stress, ease pain, support recovery, and deepen trust between animals and caregivers.
