  • 5/5 from Luciano Pacheco, attended Apr 2026: Woodworking machinery is something that I find a bit scary because of the powerful machines. This course was a great way to familiazire with these machines and learn how to operate them safely. The course has a great progression from simple projects, cutting boards to more evolved pieces like the knife block and the saw horse. Flynn, our instructor, encourages us to work independently after the initial induction on the machines, I really loved this aspect. The classes finished last week and I miss it already, I want more.
  • 5/5 from Sergio Guidi, attended Apr 2026: My second course here, after the handtools one and I loved every moment of it!
  • 5/5 from Adam Moore, attended Oct 2025: Fantastic class, wonderfully taught by Flynn. Flynn gave terrific instructions and allowed everyone to work at their own pace with oversight allowing our confidence to grow as we became familiar with the machines. Highly recommend the course for anyone interested in wood working or anyone looking to try something different. Loved all the projects we completed and the flexibility we were given.
  • 5/5 from Martin Booth, attended Oct 2025: Flynn is an incredible teacher and always has the safety of the students first and foremost
  • 5/5 from Tom Booth, attended Oct 2025: Flyn was an awesome teacher, loved every week of the course, stoked with what I made and can’t wait to make more
  • 5/5 from Joachim Gudmundsson, attended Feb 2025: Two awesome teachers taking care of five students. Great support, teaching you the basics of woodworking. Fun projects and at the end of it I felt confident using many of the machines.
  • 5/5 from Lyall Shapiro, attended Oct 2024: David and Flynn provided an outstanding adult learning experience. Clear objectives, reminders about what was truly important to know and practice, and clear and timely instruction and guidance. We had eight weeks of learn, practice, learn, practice and this has massively built confidence in the woodworking machinery. I feel safely competent to go to other workshops and use their equipment, but I am also equipped with the knowledge of how to think about safety. We were able to create several projects and it was a joyful experience to complete and take home quality pieces. I highly recommend this course.
  • 5/5 from Colin McKenzie, attended Jul 2024: I have done a number of woodworking courses and this one was by far the best. Instructors David and Flynn were excellent. They explained things very well and were patient and provided great guidance one on one. The balance of group tuition and individual help was good. The workshop, tools and other requirements were the best quality. Everything was easy to find. I came away from this course confident in using all of the machines but with respect for the potential for things to go wrong. Safety was clearly a high priority throughout the course. I highly recommend this course and in fact will be going back for the next module to continue my learning. Also I will be doing other courses run by David and his team.
  • 5/5 from Daniel Yeung, attended Jul 2024: Excellent facilities and good quality tools and machines. Good teachers. Wonderful learning experience. Highly recommended.
