Platters of prosciutto, sopressa, salami, mortadella, cheeses, slices of baguettes drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. A little panettone just because Christmas is around the corner. And that was just the first stop. Then we headed to the local butcher who did a very informative talk about his family with generations of butchers, currently comprising of an empire of butcher shops and supermarkets all operating in the Sydney area. An array of award winning meats on offer to sample to our tastebuds’ content. Finally some Italian sweets to put the finishing touches on a super nice morning stroll around five dock’s little Italy.
