- 5/5 from Alison Howlett, attended May 2023: I had a one-on-one class with Shirley which was great! I had my kit that was mailed to me & Shirley gave me some good tips on what not to do with card making & how to arrange/re-arrange until the picture looked & felt right. I managed 1 of the 3 cards - see the finished product below :)
- 5/5 from Birgit Beisner, attended Nov 2020: Great class! Shirley was super nice and gave us great instructions. This class made me feel confident about making hand made cards that don’t look like a bad craft project! I loved it!
- 5/5 from Heather Vmch, attended Jul 2020: Shirley is a wonderful teacher, very friendly, patient and engaging. Everyone enjoyed themselves making some beautiful cards, which they can now give as gifts. Thanks Shirley :-)
- 5/5 from Margaret Boyes, attended Jun 2020: I really enjoyed the class - I was the only person online I am a retired 'elderly' academic and have never been a crafty person, so I was pleased to be able to do something useful with my hands. Shirley was a good instructor. Many thanks.
- 5/5 from Shaun Stevens, attended Jun 2020: I did not attend the workshop in full, but leading up to it Shirley was great to communicate with and responded to my questions in a timely manner. I appreciated her interest and support in delivering a class of this nature, and I know the participants were very appreciative.
- 5/5 from Elyse Schinella, attended May 2020: I had a great time in this class! The teacher was very knowledgable and tailored the class to skill level. I was able to choose the colour scheme and type of cards to make beforehand and the papers that came were beautiful. I would highly recommend!
Your teacher
I love showing people how easy it is to create beautiful things. Everyone thinks they need to be creative, or talented, or crafty, but that simply is not the case. Martha Stewart's beautiful punches allow everyone to create beautiful things. When the tools are easy to use, your creativity can flourish!I love to make people aware of just how easy it is to use these tools. And allow them to explore their own creativity, in a meaningful way. I want everyone to know that they can do this! And how much pleasure it can give them.It helps you focus, relaxes your mind, and gives you that much needed balance too often missing in our lives. Card making isn't just for veteran crafters, it's for anyone that can push a piece of paper into a specially designed punching tool. Often beautiful cards are made using just one or two punches. Our most precious commodity is time and if you invest the time and energy to make a handmade card, I promise you someone will be very touched.
