Qigong is a deeply relaxing and enjoyable experience that helps you to let go of the stresses of the day, calm a busy mind, and feel more energised. This workshop offers you a comprehensive, authentic, and interactive experience of Qigong with certified and experienced teacher Adam Wiltshire as your guide.
Qigong works by combining breathing techniques and movement meditations to balance and detoxify the body and to stimulate its natural self-healing abilities. The ancient system of wisdom, knowledge, and Chinese medicine that underpins Qigong offers you a powerful and transformational practise that when practiced regularly can create deep and lasting change in your life.
During this 6-week term, we will explore the little-known connection between the organs, emotions, and the Chinese 5 elements, understanding that we can store emotions in our different organs and that over time these emotions can become stuck, stagnant, and unbalanced in the body. Each Qigong movement will target specific organs, emotions, and meridian channels and will provide you with everything you need to start feeling a positive change.
You will learn the popular Shibashi Set 1 series. This form is simple and easy to learn and offers participants an enjoyable introductory course in Qigong.
Our classes are designed for complete beginners and for practitioners with some experience. After participating in a Qigong class, you can expect to walk away feeling noticeably calmer, more energised, and feeling present and ready for the day ahead.
During this class, you will learn directly from experienced instructor Adam Wiltshire, who has been teaching Qigong classes, workshops, and retreats for over 8 years.
What you'll get
6 relaxing and enjoyable classes of learning Qigong. Class will begin with standing meditation, then our main Qigong forms for the night, followed by standing meditation at the end.

Adam Wiltshire is the founder and principal teacher of Dragonfly Qigong and has been offering Qigong classes across Sydney for 7 years. He has trained with master teachers from around the world and teaches 7 different traditional styles of Qigong forms that include a mix of Medical Qigong and Taoist Medical Qigong.
