What you'll do
Experiment with beginner sewing projects at this fun sewing class for teens! This beginners sewing, textiles and design course introduces the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, and basic hand stitching and finishing techniques. Your teen will learn a range of sewing techniques, such as using a sewing machine, hand stitching and troubleshooting. We'll cover fabric design and the fundamentals of using a sewing machine.Groups will be kept intentionally small to ensure you gain the skills and knowledge required to keep having fun working on your own projects at home.This a great way to meet new friends! Enjoy a relaxed creative space for a wonderful learning experience and take home your own project.

The place is very nice and clean, and the sowing machine is easy to use. There is a range of fabrics and materials to choose from, giving you the freedom to use your creativity. In the 6 hours I managed to do 3 projects, a pin cushion, pencil case and tote bag. I believe this class is definitely age appropriate because I 16 years old, found it not too hard or not too easy, it was the perfect level for a beginner, even if it’s your first time. The experience was fun and I learned a lot, next time I want to try a pottery class there. If your thinking about doing this sowing class I highly recommend it.
