I am a local inner west, Sydney jewellery designer, passionate educator, community-spirited and sustainable style advocate. My workshops celebrates the maker culture, creativity and the joy and craftsmanship of handmade.

Fueled with a passion for women to exude their notable and authentic style, my goal is to encourage all my students to awaken their creative soul and seek beauty, slow, artisan and local.

With over 20 years teaching experience from TAFE, corporate and community groups I am dedicated creating a teaching environment where participants can share ideas, be inspired and let their imaginations run wild.

Workshops are held in friendly and intimate studio spaces in Rozelle and Summer Hill. Alternatively, we can travel to your venue. (home, Airbnb or hotel for group bookings only)

This was such a great class, Christine walked as all through the art of making Jewellery and was so helpful.
The venue was great close to public transport if needed.

I spent the entire day beading & making jewellery with Christine from Etelage as I did one course following the other neither disappointed. The beaded jewellery workshop was I nice introduction & skill set to take into the earring workshop which finished off the afternoon. Christine is very knowledgeable, friendly & patient but also very easy to approach if stuck in 'creative indecision'. All materials are provided. I still wear my creations & have made many more since.

I had a lovely class with Christine, learning essential jewellery making techniques. Christine was warm, patient, and passionate about jewellery making. We had a very small class so got a lot of attention and help along the way. We were able to make two necklaces and two sets of earrings. The class was excellent value and I really enjoyed it!

We had a lovely time at this class for a Hens party. The place was clean and organised and the class itself was really fun and we all came away with beautiful earrings to wear for the wedding.

Christine was very attentive and helpful, providing plates and cups for us to use for snacks and wine, and went out of her way to make sure we all (especially the bride) had a good time.

Thank you for the class Chrstine! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone for a fun girls day out.

I really enjoyed the earrings class. Christine is a great teacher. The venue is great and Christine provides all tools and beds. I made three pairs of earrings and I'm pretty sure that repeating the processes in the class will mean I can make them on my own.

Christine was very helpful and friendly and checked we all understood techniques.
Christine was very organised with kits and if someone wanted to vary their design a bit too.
Would recommend this as a beginner and that you have 3 pairs of fabulous earrings at the end of class.
Oh and the brownies were delicious too!

I did jewellery making for beginners with Christine at the old flour mill in Summer Hill which was a lovely venue.
Christine was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable in her profession.
It was a small group of 3 other ladies and Christine.
She imparted with her knowledge very freely, giving lots of help and advice.
At the end of the afternoon the four of us had made 2 beautiful necklaces and matching earnings. WOW what an achievement.
All in all I had a wonderful experience and will certainly do more workshops with her.
She even went a step further and provided us with beautiful home made chocolate and walnut brownies and strawberries.

I thoroughly enjoyed the class with Christine. She provided good guidance , is very attentive and professional. Materials were provided for 3 pairs of earrings. The beads and earrings components are of good quality giving a beautiful definition to the finished pieces. I hope to be back soon for another class .

Lovely moment! Teacher is great and instructions were clear. We received a booklet and instructions sheets to continue to practice at home. During class we learned differents technics for assembling beads.

Christine was an excellent teacher - very professional, creative and patient. We made a couple of different styles so that we learnt the techniques and she showed us other styles as well. The time went very quickly and I came away inspired to make more jewellery.

I really recommend this course for beginners. Christine was a wonderful teacher and demonstrated all steps in the making process really clearly. She took us through examples of jewellery she had made and how the techniques we were learning could apply to other designs as well. The space was clean and tidy and light. Christine even baked us some delicious chocolate brownies to snack on. Highly recommend this course, it has ignited my interest to keep learning and would love to follow up with another course at some stage in the future.

The packaging is environmentally friendly which was nice. The brochures and information pack was also thoughtful as well. I liked how detailed she explains the steps, the only issue is the volume doesn't go quite high so it was a little tricky to hear.

I had a lovely day at the beading class with Christine. She’s a great teacher with a lot of knowledge and really nice to chat with. I went to this workshop with a friend of mine and we both really loved it. There were so many earrings to choose to make - and the teacher has great style so everything on offer was lovely. The workshop building is a nice space; pretty easy parking nearby and we had good social distancing throughout. Very happy with this class and love my new earrings.

I recently hosted a Hens party with Christine, and I could not be any happier with the event. I made a very last minute booking, and Christine was very efficient with her responses and everything was finalized within 2 days. The venue was beautiful, spacious and easy to find. The girls had the best time making vintage earrings while enjoying brownies and tea that was provided.I highly recommend this activity and won't hesitate to book again in the future. The class was absolutely amazing. The Venue was great, clean tidy environment which was easy to find on the busy Main Street. Christine provided us with all the tools, great materials and guidance whenever we needed and she gave equal time to each of the students. We were also provided with afternoon tea and sparkling water in the class so it was a relaxing experience. Chris was well organised, friendly and a good instructor. She taught me how to make a beaded choker, a beaded necklace and two sets of earrings. I was able to choose the colour scheme for both projects. The venue in Rozelle was easy to get to. I will definitely be using my newly acquired skills to make jewellery for family and friends
