What you'll do

Do you love cocktails but not sure what goes into your favourite concoction? Join Honkas and discover the world of mixology followed by a delicious feast.

In this unique class, you will get a 45-minute cocktail making class, where you will learn some of the best mixology tips from the barman. You will learn about the best flavour combinations and discover the secret ingredients to making a Lychee Martini and Honkas' signature cocktail, the Popo Trio. The Popo Trio is a clean tasting cocktail with a gentle blend of gin, sake and cucumber.

Not only will you get to recreate these delicious cocktails yourself but you'll also get to drink them too! Once you have completed the cocktail class, you will be seated to enjoy our feast menu. The menu takes flavours from Vietnam, Korea, Japan and China and will include the Chef's selection of dishes from the Hankas menu on the day.

Gloves are to be worn by everyone participating in class, hands must be sanitised by all.
All tables will be wiped down with antibacterial prior to and after class.

Kiren was a really good teacher. He explained everything very well learnt a few tricks that I didn’t know before.
The venue was really good and the staff were very friendly .

Amazing class and fantastic value. The host was very patient and informative, and kind and gracious enough to wait for us when we were late. Cocktails were delicious and will be easy to make at home, the food was also abundant and good quality and a great variety. Cannot rate this highly enough.

Absolutely brilliant and such a fun way to spend an afternoon.
Congratulations to the host for delivering an interesting and informative cocktail lesson that everyone could follow. We all successfully created two amazing cocktails each and enjoyed a delicious and generous banquet afterwards.
The staff are friendly and the service good.
Honkas is definitely worth a visit.

Had such a fun evening, loved how the little tricks of the cocktails were explained and I'll feel confident making these cocktails again. Good variety of cocktails and fun food, especially loved the dumplings and banana fritters. The staff were so attentive and friendly !

The experience was incredible, learnt a fair amount and the fun of bartending and drink making. One area of improvement could be with the food and maybe bringing out a couple of dishes at a time, since some foods would pair well with some others

The class was spectacular. Kieran was our guide/teacher and he was flawless. The bar was a bit understaffed due to workers having Covid and they politely apologised for the wait and executed our class amazingly.
Brooke also waited on us and she was very sweet. Overall it was a top notch experience and I will recommend this to friends and family.

The 'feast' is certainly a feast You get so much food so make sure you arrive hungry! The 2 cocktails are divine too, and so fun to make. The teacher made it entertaining and overall the experience was so fun. I went with my fiance and my parents for a Xmas present and I would 100% go again.

Fantastic value for money and made for a really fun night with friends! Lychee martini and popo trio were delish. The banquet menu for food was a very lovely surprise since I didn't check exactly what was going to be served. Was worried that we might've needed to fill our bellies somewhere afterwards, but we were sooo full from the banquet set. Yum! Thank you Hamilton for the class.

P.S. The loveliest serving staff ever - really wish I tipped him! Whoops!

They said you can't please everyone, Honkas team definitely proof that wrong! I had 12 other ladies with me for gathering before my wedding and we all love the cocktail making class and the food! Hamilton is so patient with us (13 ladies!) :). It's definitely worth the money and fully recommend this class, even it's for date night! Will come back and bring the husband :)

The cocktail making class was quite informative. It is perfect for beginners and you have fun while doing it. I didn't think the "feast" was actually a feast. It was more like you've ordered a few entrees instead. I was expecting a bit more from the "feast" part of this experience.
