Creativity Wild Mosaics is a Sydney-based art studio and classroom.
Operating for more than a decade, it is owned by artist/teacher Miriam Ross. Miriam has been creating and teaching mosaics and craft for more than twenty years. Her goal is to give every person, no matter their age or perceived ability, an opportunity to create a beautiful and substantial piece of art that they can be proud of.
Hence, Miriam has worked with many preschools, primary and secondary schools, after school and holiday care, aged care, community groups, special needs and corporate clients. She has also worked on a voluntary basis with hospitals and other not for profit organisations.
Miriam has students who love attending mosaic workshops in her classroom at botany. “Whenever I work with people the process is the same – I help each person find their own unique creative style, then help them express that creativity through mosaic art. When I work with schools and large groups we work together to create a unique mosaic that reflects their emotions and values”.
All CW mosaics include students’ artworks and ideas. “This ensures students have ownership and pride in their beautiful mosaic and feel connected to it."

This was a great starter class to give you the basics on what you need to know.
Teacher was friendly and very helpful . All materials are provided. And parking is easy.
It is trickier than I had imagined and most people struggled for time. Don’t get too bogged down in making it perfect. Just have a go!

Miriam was a patient and experienced teacher who catered to students aged 5 to 50 plus in the same class. Our family made multiple pieces in the allocated time and had a wonderful afternoon in the studio. We will be back!

Miriam is fantastic. She is very patient and explains the steps very clearly. It has been a great experience for my 8yo and myself as we have not done any mosaics class before. We look forward to join future class or have a birthday party at Creativity Wild Mosaics.

Fantastic day.
Miriam was a great teacher and kept to the speed of the class.
Everything we needed was provided and she explained it very well.
She even told us how we could do it at home if we wanted.
Definitely recommend and would live to go back and learn something new in one of her other classes

We had an amazing time. Our sculptures came out way better than we expected and the class was super relaxed.
It wasn't obvious from the class bento description that the sculptures are aerated concrete, not clay. Personally, I think I preffered it that way.

A fun albeit dusty afternoon spent creating our very own masterpieces under the friendly and experienced tutelage of Miriam who has the patience of a saint! I have never know 4 hours fly by so fast and how we achieved our recognizable take home pieces from a raw block of cement in that time is truly amazing and an indication of how good Miriam is.
Well worth it and something i would be keen to do again! Thanks Miriam for a great afternoon!

Had a lovely experience and enjoyed the class very much. Great energy and support from our teacher which was just enough detail to have us create a finished product we loved by the end. All tools provided and my finished sculpture makes me smile. Mission accomplished!

Seller was quick to respond and friendly but I could have got kit elsewhere for less than half what I paid here. The kit only came with instructions not a class. Very disappointed.

We loved our class! Our instructor gave us all the knowledge we would need and then let us create, giving tips along the way. The class is excellent value and perfect for beginners. My group loved it and would definitely go back again!

This was my first sculpting class and a great place to start. I learnt a lot from the class about tools and basic techniques. I was surprised by what I was able to do within the class and super happy with the experience. I underestimated how much effort and strength would be needed - it is definitely a very hands on class where you will work up a bit of a sweat!

We used hand tools to turn a block of aerated concrete into our own mini masterpiece. It was a lot of fun and I felt a great sense of achievement by the end of the workshop. Our teacher gave us lots of tips on where to buy our own inexpensive tools if we wish to continue sculpting at home. It was great!
