This fun class is perfect for beginners and all of the sweet tooths out there!

In this Sydney workshop, you will prepare five delicious desserts including Panna Cotta, Chocolate Fondant, Lemon-Passionfruit Curd, Fresh Peach Crumble and Sticky Date Pudding.

Get creative in the kitchen and learn the secrets to baking success. You will enjoy your handmade desserts in class and even take some home with you. Gain new skills and learn how to master the art of these classic dessert recipes at home.

Children between the ages of 12 to 18 may attend provided they are booked in together with a parent/guardian over the age of 18 at a ratio of one adult to one child.

Please note: Sydney Cooking School (SCS) reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class for reasons concerning SCS. If a class has been cancelled due to low attendance, sickness or any other matter regarding SCS, all students will be notified within 48 hours of the class commencement date, and the option to reschedule to another date or full refunds provided.

Suitable for

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday, hens party or bucks party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

This would also be a nice gift for her, gift for mum or anniversary gift.

We have a variety of themed menus and packages available, and our formats are suitable to anyone, from the absolute beginner to the more passionate cook. As well as our regularly scheduled classes, we offer masterclasses in Pastry, Chicken & Duck and Pork & Cider, as well as Children’s School Holiday classes.

If you prefer to be out of the Kitchen join us in our fabulous BBQ area for one of our Popular BBQ classes – Things really heat up in these classes so ensure you dress comfortably.

This was such a great class! Paul is an amazing teacher and was able to provide a casual and fun environment for everyone. Even my niece, who can be a little shy at times, went out the front of the entire class to help him out. Cannot recommend this class enough, excited to try another one soon!

We really enjoyed this cooking class because we learnt so much from it. The chef taught us the basics of baking which gave us the confidence to bake more and be more creative with our creations.

We would highly recommend this class to anyone who isn't familiar with baking!

Today’s class was above and beyond. Brett was excellent, he did a wonderful job. My 10 year old niece came along today today and he was terrific with her, she loved it and we have convinced both our mums to do another class because of our experience today. The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and small class so that we could get help when we needed it. The extra tips and advice along the way like how to get the best out of a whisk was very helpful. I especially enjoyed the chocolate fondant and panda cotta! Beautiful and decadent. Takeaway containers are provided which is excellent and unexpected. Would highly recommend.

Paul was a wonderfully clear and well paced teacher. He was very knowledgeable and he made every recipe seem achievable. Although we only had hands on tasks for the chocolate fondant and the filling of the peach crumble the dessert were all delicious.
