Your teacher
Elinor Pickard
Elinor Pickard is a practising artist and a painter with drawing at the centre of her practice. She has a BA Visual Arts and Grad Dip from Sydney College of the Arts. Elinor also went on to complete a Masters in Museum Studies from the University of Sydney.
Her interest in fine and decorative arts is reflected in her paintings, specifically those centred on botanical and floral subjects, rich with colour and often incorporating her fine gilding techniques. Elinor also enjoys urban sketching and capturing the interactions between people, and the human figure within the built urban environment.An attentive and encouraging art educator, Elinor has been teaching adults since 2016. She has also run regular children's art classes since 2015.
