Recent reviews of Dumpling Making Class
5/5 from Jessica Ivy Wesson, attended Oct 2026: Great fun lively event. Super easy and organized for even the most basic of cooks. It's more arts and crafts than actual cooking. Had a lot of fun making the different dumpling shapes, and laughing at our failures. Best part, at the end you eat your own dumplings ugly ones and all.
5/5 from John Pastor, attended Oct 2026: A very enjoyable afternoon. A delightful way to eat your hard work.
5/5 from Gavin Wright, attended Oct 2026: Great experience, host was a lot of fun and really personable
5/5 from Denise, attended Oct 2026: Great class, patient teacher, plenty of noodles to eat after you have cooked. My husband and I made over 30 noodles. What I liked was that we made our own noodles and the chef cooked each couples noodles separately. We then enjoy them. They provided a take away container to take what we couldn't eat home.
5/5 from Janine Silver, attended Sep 2026: Our teacher was great and was enthusiastic. Everything was explained so well and all questions answered.

5/5 from Nat Taylor, attended Aug 2026: Lots of fun! Teacher was great and there was something for all skill levels and those who had made dumplings before added a few new techniques to their skillss. Awesome venue as well.
5/5 from Jessica Nicholson, attended Aug 2026: The class was really good! It would be good to bring a pen and paper to write down the recipe.

5/5 from Brie Morris, attended Aug 2026: Dan was a kind, relaxed and patient teacher, and was accommodating of our dietary requirements too. The dumplings were delicious - we would return in a heartbeat!
4/5 from Catherine Michael, attended Aug 2026: Class was fun and well run. We had a good laugh.
3/5 from Elizabeth Pringle, attended Aug 2026: The class was good, but way short of the advertised time of 1:15pm - 3:30pm. By 2.10 we had made our dumplings and had eaten all we wanted. We expected more techniques, recipes, etc. The teacher was friendly, the food was good, and we enjoyed the time we had. It's just that we felt it was not worth the money for what we got.
5/5 from Maya Al Maraee, attended Jul 2026: Such a fun class, highly recommend!
5/5 from Jeanene Stevenson, attended Jul 2026: The experience was really worthwhile and enjoyable. Our dumpling teacher was so nice and recognised that it was my grandsons birthday. Im 73 and he's turned 13, meaning this experience is great for all ages
5/5 from Samantha A Gardiner, attended Jul 2026: Excellent experience great fun and great food
5/5 from Yufei Cao, attended Jul 2026: We had a great time in Honka Bar + Eats for our team events, the staff is very friendly and looked after us throughout the class, the class is easy to follow and fun, and we got to enjoy our own dumplings at the end of class. Definitely recommend this venue for team building.
4/5 from Benita Sajan, attended Jul 2026: Really great class, loved our teacher and loved all the different shapes she taught us. Dumplings came out really quickly after we sent it off to the kitchen too which was great. Highly recommend!
5/5 from Anthony Stewart, attended Jun 2026: Daddy & Daughter class, great fun - eat what ya make- great idea.. loved it
5/5 from Kirsty Mackenzie, attended Jun 2026: Really easy class and really enjoyable. Dumplings were delicious. We will be back!
5/5 from Darryl Prince, attended Jun 2026: Such a good night - made simple by the teacher - thank you. Dumplings were delicious, easy to make and so quick to cook! A tip for future classes, get the class to intorcude them selves etc so the group gets some banter going
5/5 from Nathan Lowenstein, attended Jun 2026: Max was a great teacher, we had a lot of fun, thanks for a great night
5/5 from Michael Spudic, attended Jun 2026: The class was very easy going and good fun. The teacher was very helpful and we had a good time. Not to mention the dumplings were delicious
4/5 from Mia Craig, attended Jun 2026: I would recommend it being more immersive by prepping and chopping up our own ingredients to get a real feel for cooking. I felt like the actual class component was very short. Another possibility would even be letting us watch the cooking being done to make it even more worthwhile!
3/5 from Carla Buhagiar, attended Jun 2026: The instructor Dan was great. Really nice and helpful. Overall was a great experience, however when we arrived we were sat down and told to wait for the cocktail class to finish (which ended up running over). After we were sat none of the staff came to update us or even take a drink order while we waited. We then had to go out of our way to order drinks when we paid the additional money for the bottomless. The drinks staff seemed quite annoyed when we went to the bar to order yet never came to the table to take our order. If it wasn’t for that mishap I would have easily given this 5/5.
5/5 from Bernadette Chidiac, attended May 2026: We had a great time. It was simple and not complicated. Great for a beginner class.
5/5 from Pahola Gutierrez, attended May 2026: Teacher was great. Class was fun and easy to follow. Dumplings were delicious. Can’t wait to make them at home!!
5/5 from Bridie O’Sullivan, attended May 2026: Super fun date, the team was friendly and helpful! Highly recommend
5/5 from Estely Berticelli, attended May 2026: We were a group of 30 people, and everyone had a great time and really enjoyed making and then eating the dumplings. It's a great option for a team-bonding activity!
5/5 from Fox Stapleton, attended May 2026: Was really good! Love every part! Maybe to choose what the dumpling filling is
5/5 from Kate Alexander, attended May 2026: A lovely, chill, beginner friendly way to learn a fun new skill and enjoy dinner too! We were one of 3 couples in our class, and our guide was super friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience, and I'll be back.
5/5 from Carolyn Heffernan, attended May 2026: I had a great time. They were very easy and tasty and they cook them 3 different ways. Our teacher was full of energy showing us all different ways to make them. I went on my own but it would be good to go with a group of friends and have the cocktails before the class. I thought it was very good value for money. Whatever I couldn’t eat I bought home. They email the recipe to you. The rappers you buy from an Asian supermarket. The filling was delicious.
4/5 from Amanda Holman, attended May 2026: Class started about half hour later than scheduled but over all was a fun class we made plenty of dumplings to eat and had to bring some home for left overs over all was a good class
2/5 from Zahra Golemola, attended May 2026: It wasn’t really an experience. It has been scheduled from 5-7:15 we were done eating by 6. You would get better content from you tube. Do not waste your time or money.
5/5 from Susan Simmons, attended Apr 2026: We had a great evening and they happily catered for me being coeliac. Great instructions from Max and Dan. Lots of fun highly recommend and the dumplings delicious
5/5 from Sophie Cohen, attended Apr 2026: Was a great and easy class. Enjoyed the structure and simplicity and would recommend
5/5 from James Wallace, attended Apr 2026: Thanks had a great time! Much appreciated
3/5 from Christine Burwinkle, attended Apr 2026: This was an OK experience. More of a social/drinking experience than educational about the dumpling making process; the instructors were nice enough but clearly just doing a job. I found the venue a bit dirty as well. On the whole, would not recommend but had a decent enough time.
5/5 from Tian Luong, attended Mar 2026: I came here for a Hen's on a Monday and was on a budget. The class is pretty fun and it's great for big groups. The teacher was extremely accommodating to all the dietaries in my group (gluten free, vegetarian) and great at giving instructions. I feel like I can make dumplings at home now. The price is not bad and you also get a lot of dumplings. I'd go again but maybe get the drinks package.
5/5 from Katrin Kitzman, attended Mar 2026: Fun team activity!! Interactive and easy to follow instructions. Dumplings are YUM too. Highly reccommend for a fun and casual team activity
5/5 from Hannah Knights, attended Mar 2026: It was great, we loved the part where we could get creative and make any dumpling shapes we wanted to. It was such a fun night!
5/5 from Zeeth Bijayananda, attended Mar 2026: G was energetic, patient and easy to follow with his instructions. Also grateful that the calss was able to accomodate one of our team members who had a dietary restriction. Making Dumplings was quite easy and fun, also great for a large group activity.
