When she’s not at her desk, Erica loves curling up on the couch with a good book, finding the closest bush track to walk, writing fantastical stories, and spending time with her family. She’s also never opposed to trying a new restaurant, setting up a beach picnic, or getting back into her many creative hobbies. Her favourite crafts to revisit are digital art, painting, hand-building, baking, and needle felting.
Career StoryAfter completing a Bachelor of Arts (Major in Writing) at Macquarie University, Sydney, Erica started her professional experience writing for an online lifestyle magazine. During her time there, she covered topics on travelling, food, and social experiences. She then shifted across to a couple of bid-writing roles within a range of industries, from construction to IT to human resources. During this time, Erica grew from a bid and content writer to a content and social media executive, where she created digital content for human resources companies while expanding their social reach and connections over five years.
Erica took care of digital content planning, creation, and distribution, focused on the human experience in the workplace and professional fields before taking some time off to lean into being a full-time mum.
In her time away from professional work life, Erica is a published fiction author and intends to continue writing and publishing books in the future.
