What you'll do

Looking for a hands-on candle making class in the Hawkesbury? Look no further! Join us for a fun-filled workshop where you'll learn how to create two beautiful candles to take home. In this 2-hour workshop, you'll discover the art of candle making and unleash your creativity as you craft two candles of varying sizes.

Jewellery Candle:
What's better than creating your own candle? Creating a candle with a mystery sterling silver piece of jewellery inside.

You will create a large 285g fragrant soy candle and place a mystery piece of sterling silver jewellery inside. You simply need to select whether to have a Ring, Earrings or a Necklace and the size of the ring (Size 6-10). The rest is a complete mystery!!! How exciting!!!!

This candle has a 48-hour Burn time so if you are patient place your jewellery further down into your pour however if you are like me and patience is not your forte I recommend placing it up the top of your pour so you can get to it quicker into your burn.

Crystal Infused Candle:
You will also create an uplifting 400g candle and infuse it with scents to match your chosen tumble stone and botanical. This candle will be perfect for use during meditation.

Our candle making class is designed to be relaxed and fun, creating a welcoming atmosphere for beginners and seasoned candle enthusiasts alike. You'll be guided through the process every step of the way, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

Soo Good Soapery is a 15 year old small home-based Australian business that specializes in the creation of high quality handmade soaps, cosmetics and home fragrance.

My name is Shahn and I am the owner, creater and teacher here at Soo Good Soapery. The decision and vision to create a business that prides itself in providing its customers with exceptional quality and simple but organic ingredient products that are good for you started on my first trip to Nelson Bay NSW with my mumma dearest. I absolutely fell in love with an artisan soap that was being sold at the market. Mum brought me a bar. After using the soap, I immediately noticed how superior Artisan Soap was compared to the mass produced soap available at the supermarkets.

So in 2008, with a heap of fear but a lot of eagerness I attended my first Artisan Soap making class and wow, I was immediately hooked.

2 long years passed whilst I was attending every artisan soap making class I could find, spending my spare time reading everything I could on soaping and although I had plenty of failures I also had a new found fondness of the science involved with creating. In 2017 I sold my first soap bar and received amazing feedback and it was in that moment that Soo Good Soapery was born.

Today, my passion for soap making has continued to grow. I now offer bottled liquid soaps and smooth luxury whipped soaps that are full of goodness with NO added nasty's. Sourcing at least 90% of my ingredients from home grown small Australian family run businesses.

But it doesn't stop there. I also want to share my passion for soap making and bring handmade artisan soup workshops to you!
