Join Theresa Perry for a half hour virtual rest break that combines mindful movement and meditation. In this tai chi class, you will learn the art of stilling your mind and finding deep relaxation and calm. Don't worry if you're new to mindfulness or meditation—this class is suitable for everyone, including beginners.

Theresa will guide you through the entire class, ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease. You'll start with some deep breathing and gentle stretching to warm up your body and prepare for the practice. Then, you'll experience the beauty of tai chi and qi gong, with slow sweeping movements and deep breathing to cultivate balance and harmony within.

To conclude the class, you'll engage in a short standing or sitting meditation to relax your body and deepen your connection with your mind. Throughout the class, Theresa will be there to support you and guide you, making sure you have a rewarding and rejuvenating experience.

I've been doing martial arts for over 20 years, competed in Tai Chi interstate and internationally, performed at Chinese New Year festivals and events and am actively involved in the Tai Chi and Wu Shu community.

For me Tai Chi is like a “moving meditation” – I get to work out my body while doing it in a relaxing way that feels good. The slow gentle movements with breathing help relax my body and mind. I practice daily meditation and love using the beautiful tones of the singing bowl to help relax the body and instil an inner peace.

I'm a certified holistic life and business coach who can help you unpack what is holding you back and work with you to start living life with more passion and vibrancy.

I have been coaching and empowering individuals to set and achieve personal and professional goals for 14 years. Experienced in leading personal development workshops for corporate and non-profit organisations to enhance employee engagement by working on their personal and professional goals. I have worked in the corporate industry with employees from entry level to the executive team on events, projects and providing executive support.
