Recent reviews of Manual Coffee Brewing Workshop

  • 5/5 from Isabelle Bradford, attended Sep 2026: I took this course with a friend for something to do on a rainy day. I went in with barista experience, while my friend was just a coffee lover! We both walked away having learned so much. Emerson was a phenomenal teacher who has seemingly infinite knowledge of all things coffee. He answered any questions that we had! He delivered the course in a way that anyone could understand regardless of their coffee experience. Emerson made the class environment both fun and welcoming. My friend and I had an overwhelmingly positive time and would happily return to any class at The Grounds that Emerson teaches!
  • 5/5 from Nicola Wootton, attended Aug 2026: Emerson was an amazing teacher. Sharing his wealth of knowledge from farm to cup with so much enthusiasm. Coffee brewing can be very complex but Emerson was able to give us real take away skills that we can apply at home. This is a real master class, great value for money and not to be missed.
  • 5/5 from Ryan Croft, attended Jul 2026: Perfectly presented, Engaging & Informative. The Teachers experience of Brazilian coffee farms added a level of detail and authenticity that made the experience even better. Definitely recommend
