The past year has created a maelstrom of change and stress, so come and discover some inner peace and calm in this live streaming meditation course!
Finding peace and calm today can seem elusive and difficult. But this five-part course may just have what you're looking for. It's the perfect escape offering a virtual calm and quiet place away from the swirling chaos of life.
Your teacher Mike will create a space for you where you can draw breath and learn about 'being at peace'. This process will run over two stages. Firstly, a simple exercise to cut out the distractions of life and secondly a 'minimalist' guided meditation.
There are five sessions within the course as this is generally how long it takes people to understand what the feeling of peace and calm really is.
Each class includes:
  • A light discussion or anecdote to bring you into the group followed by what exercises we are going to do.
  • A simple body scan meditation to raise your awareness followed by a simple exercise (around 20 minutes).
  • A more complex meditation exercise (around 30 minutes).
  • Wrap up and summary.
The result is a feeling of calm that initially will last for a day or two and the more times we go through the exercise the longer that feeling remains with you. While we set some boundaries within the meditation, they cover a wide expanse allowing you to explore lots of great mindfulness techniques and concepts.
You'll finish the class feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready to tackle whatever life throws at you!
Knowledge required
No prior meditation experience required! Just a willingness to find peace and calm.
 
What to bring
Wear comfortable clothing and you may wish to bring a cushion or chair to sit on for the meditation.

This class series runs over 5 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.

Hi, I'm Mike and I'm a meditation teacher and Reiki Master. Sounds impressive but... I’m no Guru in the mountain cave leading a pure and ideal life. I’ve reached a stage in my life where I want to give back and explore my spiritual and healing capabilities to see where they lead me.

The secret is not the music or what I say it’s what I create. My mantra is 'Keep It simple'! I do create boundaries but think of an enormous adventure playground, not a tiny room! Why? I found when sticking to rigid ideas and beliefs I missed out on so much beauty!
