Chef and Author Katie White trained at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu London and since then has worked in London as well as on retreats in Europe. She is also a published author and you may recognise her book The Seasonal Vegan in Kmarts and other book stores all around the Australia. Katie's passion is showing you how to make incredibly delicious and satisfying food just from plants. It's all about flavour and the health benefits are a bonus! Combining classic french training, a deep passion for ethical and sustainable food and a desire to make the world a better place is what makes Katie's food unique.

After a very rocky start with emails of reminders, then venue cancellations after the starting times, talk of refunds, then venue changes we were very concerned that we'd been scammed. And felt very apprehensive. When things were finally sorted and the class started late our fears were slowly relaxed and we got into things. Katie was a warm wealth of knowledge and super friendly, very different to the starting mishap. A very memorable, enjoyable, delicious experience. Thanks

I recently did the March cooking school retreat with Katie & it was such an awesome experience.
Katie is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to food. Offering lots of little hints & tips.
For someone so young she has accomplished so much in her life.
The pasta class was great & sitting with new friends on the veranda eating the dishes we made was pure joy

Loved this experience! The accomodation was truly beautiful and comfortable. Just a short drive from Byron Bay in a serene relaxing setting. Katie is a wonderful host sharing her knowledge and expertise in vegan cooking. We made some delicious meals and had plenty to eat. We also had lots of great chats and lots of laughs with her and others who came to do the course. I would definitely recommend and would definitely do it all again.

Myself, my brother and a friend participated in the Fresh Pasta Making Class in Alstonvale. Creating Ravioli, Fettuccini and Tiramisu with easy to follow recipes and visual instructions from Katie, made for a delightful day. Afterwards, we retreated to the veranda and enjoyed the delicious meal together.

Love the atmosphere, the accomodation was a serene place set within a natural tranquility. The cooking style and recipes are user friendly, nutritious and delicious. It was an engaging experience to build a vast range of quick, easy and nutritious ingredients than all people will feel empowered to achieve and liberated from harmful systems.

What a wonderful day we had at the vegan cooking class - lots of great info, handy hints, delicious food and we were each given a beautiful cook book. I would recommend this class to everyone who cooks and eats at home, anyone who is interested in tasty, economical, easy to prepare, healthy food. Lovely venue, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

I was keen to learn about combinations of flavours, and nutrition, so plant-based foods could be delicious as well as healthy. My expectations were more than exceeded! She had plenty of tips supported by good explanations.
We were each given a copy of her cook-book but some recipes were new and we learnt how to substitute if necessary. I took a couple of pages of notes.
We observed her cooking rather than doing it ourselves but this was so we could cover a lot. It was very interactive with lots of Q&A.
We then sat down together to eat a wonderful meal and have a chat.
Thoroughly recommend.

We had such a beautiful day making the best tasting pasta with Katie! She was warm, knowledgeable and made the experience. Sitting down on the verandah in between the trees to enjoy the pasta at the end was really unforgettable.
