What you'll do
Weather it’s advice on a tricky project, setting up your new machine or understanding how to read a commercial sewing pattern: Yes - now it is all available online! No matter where you are or where I am, you can now book a remote sewing lesson - uniquely designed to your needs!
The successful concept of my 1:1 sewing classes is now available over the comfort of the internet and you get personal tailored advice for your projects, no matter where you are located and how many miles are between instructor and student. The lesson can be delivered as a hybrid lesson, so you get input and advice, sew - and we do a follow up- or simply book a slot to get specific questions answered on aspects of sewing, machine-set up/ buying * and pattern adjustments.
Learn what YouTube can’t teach and get all your specific questions answered by an experienced expert. This class is specifically useful for machine-set up sessions, threading a machine, learning new tipps and tricks about your machine, e.g. making a button hole etc. or advancing your knowledge in pattern making, understanding a commercial sewing pattern or getting all those questions answered you have as a sewist whilst making a new project. Catering for all levels from beginner to experienced.
Lessons are bookable by 1 hour increments. You can book more in a block as well.

Knowledge required
This class caters for everyone wanting to learn how to sew from beginner to expert level. For Kids lessons we recommend that an adult is present to assist for safety reasons.
What to bring
Have a camera and internet connection ready at your sewing workspace where you would normally work when sewing by yourself. We recommend having a basic sewing kit handy, along with a sewing machine, pen and paper for taking notes, materials and a pattern. A detailed sewing kit checklist can be provided before class.

Your teacher
I am a European trained master tailor and Fashion Designer and am qualified to professionally teach sewing. With my expertise in sewing, pattern making and design for many years, you get the chance to pick the brain of a skilled expert with a passion for teaching others.
I am experienced in teaching one-on-one classes with different sewing projects, machine-set up and overlocker sessions and have also tutored high-school and TAFE students in textile projects. Teaching new skills to people is something that I love doing, to guide individuals to create their dream projects and assist with how-to’s and advice along the way.
My calm and organised approach to teaching projects makes it possible for the customers to get a great learning experience and often gain more knowledge than they expected.
