Come and join us as we cook up a storm in our fun, exclusively small-group Asian cooking class. Discover culinary skills and kitchen techniques and have fun creating a delicious menu.
Kids will learn to make food from scratch, as well as a whole range of kitchen skills and use a variety of utensils. They will also learn to follow the steps in a written recipe and accurately measure ingredients.
Your teacher, Karen is fun, patient and kind with over 25 years of teaching experience. She can get the kids cooking together and learning skills in no time!
By the end of the class, kids will leave with containers full of all the yummy treats and the secret booklet of recipes to practise again and again.
Menu:
- Pork and cabbage dumplings from scratch
- Assorted sushi
- Yakitori chicken skewers
- Sweet coconut balls
Please note:
- This is suitable for vegetarians (choose option when booking) but not gluten-free.
- If you have kids under seven years who want to attend, you will need to book 2 tickets (one for the parent and one for the child).
- All the food made to take home and share.

Since 2002 our qualified classroom teacher has been running Brisbane cooking workshops and also in the UK and has vast experience with children and adults of all ages and abilities.
Creativity is a messy and important part of childhood but don’t worry, we clean up!
We can cater for students of all abilities; inquisitive cooks, creative minds, beginners and even help fussy eaters. In this current stage of Covid-19 we run Zoom dinner club classes for kids and special themed cooking nights on Zoom for adults. Face-to-face classes will be opening from 15th of June.
Our lessons are taught in a commercial-class kitchen with on-street parking and lots of local cafes and bushwalks right here.
